William Burt’s nearly 40 years of photography provides unique and extensive coverage of the following:
1) rare and elusive birds (rails & bitterns, nightjars, other marsh birds, etc.);
2) birds of the wetlands, including close & unusual views on their home breeding grounds;
3) downy young birds of the wetlands: especially grebes, ducks, shorebirds, herons;
4) large format (4x5) camera views of the natural scene: particularly of wetlands, rivers, streams.
